Update:September

Well I have been a slacker with my updates.  So I will try to play catch up now I guess, not that runs if stuff had really happened.
First is I have gotten called to Beehives advisor in my ward.  I forget what it is like at that age so it is fun to go back.  Plus I have been mostly been with primary so it is a good change.  I have kinda been appointed to be in charge of the sports which will be fun.  Plus I have been the coach for the young women before but that was when we first got married so it had been ages.
Z is growing so much!  She talks pretty well and has lately gotten into commenting on the Tinkerbell movie she is watching, yelling out "Oh no!"  Or "Skull rock!".  She just makes me laugh everyday.  I love being her mommy and I love teaching her new things.  We were at the doctors office the other day for my hubby's yearly endoscopy and we were playing little games like 5 little monkies and such.  I loved watching pick up the words and hand signals and her sweet grin when she is having fun.  A little more update on her.  She was still 90th percentile for height and around 75-80th ish for weight.  She loves Tinkerbell as of late, but she did adore Jake and the Netherlands Pirates and Mickey Mouse Club for a good long time.  She is in size 3T clothes and size 6 shoes. She has developed my sweet tooth and allergies.  She still takes a nap, which is a life saver for my work schedule, and loves to tell me "wake up momma" in the morning.  She maybe hitting a growth spurt here again.  She has been a lot more tired lately and her cognition and skills development always takes off before her body starts to grow. Well until the next hopefully sooner update.

Z is Two!!

So my baby just turned 2, what did I just say that already?  It feels like I just barely was trying to get her to eat broccoli puree and say "mama" (instead of just "dada"). I remember when she could fit in her bumbo and when she just started trying to take her first steps and when she stressed refusing to take bottles and only wanted sippy cups,  they were only certain types of sippy cups mind you but sippy cuos all the same.  Now she had to sit on big girl chairs with no booster seats, drink from open cups with no lids ( good thing I have a carpet cleaner and lots of super absorbent towels).  But truly I am happy to see her at this next stage.  She is so funny and I love how much her personality has matured.  She still loves animals but now she gives Duncan his food and constantly fills up his water dish. She still loves to be silly and loves to tickle everyone.  She has taken to tickling her own feet sometimes.  She is wearing size 3 clothes and has definately become more fashion inclined.  She had to have all four of her sets of baretts in her hair at one time.  Another day she had to have a certain flower clip on her hair.  Another day she had to wear her matching camo shirt and pants. She will pick a pair of shoes and they are the only ones she will wear, even if they don't match at all.   It is just so fun letting her pick stuff.  She has been loving playing outside.  We did bubbles for about half an hour today and Jon has been taking her to the park every night that I work.  She  has also gotten so adventurous.  She is "hop hop hop"ing everywhere, down the stairs, off the couch onto her beanbag, off her toy car, everywhere. She has also continued to develop into a daddy's girl.... She will snuggle up to him on nights I am gone and wake him up because she is rubbing his back.  But do I get back rubs and snuggle time? Nope I get a feet in my back and a little girl who stills my pillow and who won't let me put my arm on her or hold her, even though she will let her daddy do so.  Oh and did I mention she will cry when daddy leaves but I get a "see you later".  Yeah not fair.  But those two are so similar it is not really surprising.  She just got to look a lot like me. Wait , wait she did get my love of sugar and my temper....
