Well I just hit 33 weeks!! 7 left to go.  I feel lile he may come slightly early, but who knows.  I was measuring a week early at one point, but now seem to be right on. He is measuring to be about 7-8 pounds, which is the average for my kiddos.  So we will see!!

#3!!

Well baby #3 is due August 4th and it is a BOY!!! YAY!!! We are so excited.  No names yet,  but we have always stuggled with names.  I feel so huge at 20 weeks, but i feel pretty good, just normal sciatic nerve pain, ligament pain, food avoidance, some insomnia, and fatigue.  I tried to make it to 20 weks before i needed maternity clothes, but I gave in at 18 weeks on the pants. We have out big ultrasound on Tuesday so i will post more pictures then.   The girls seem pretty excited.  Z is bummed that she has to go to school a few weeks after he is born and she talks about how she gets to help take care of him.  E seems to be getting slightly clincher, wanting to snugfle more, hold hamds more, constantly asking where i am going or where i am at if I am in the other room. So maybe she is soaking in the last few opportunities to be the youngest. But she talks about brother a lot. Zoe did say, when we asked her if she had any boy names, "well the only boy name i have is a boy horse name and it js Tomahawk." So I guess that is in the running..... Haha juust kidding.  Anyway, i will update after the ultrasound.

Kiddos Update

Well school is in full swing.  Z loves it and loves having her Grandma as a lunch lady. E took a while to adjust to preschool, but likes it now and talks about her teacher all the time and how she "miss mom" when she goes to school. Z tells me all about what she does at recess and her little adventures with STEM and she always brings home a chpater book for us to read. She is growing up So fast! I still miss her and enjoy when she has days off so we can go on adventures and do fun things. Sometimes into wish they could just stay home with me always and never go to school, but Z thrives with social interaction and it is good for E to be around kids because she has always kinda kept to herself and needs to learn how to interact with others.  He's taljing much MUCH better and never hummus her words anymore.  So I was helping Z with her homework and as I am looking at this math problem I was like "What!? She is learning algebra?! How am I going to explain that to a first grader!"  But she has got it down pat.  Smart little cookie should be able to be a vet for horses of she keeps it up.  E just loves belting out 'itsy bitsy spider's and ' wheels on the bus' and most recently 'old McDonald'.  Then she will say " loud one" after her little opera session.  Too funny them girls.

Muzzleloader for Me

Ok so a few weeks ago I had my muzzle loader hunt.  ( I figure that sonce the blood is the Horman hunters it only makes sense to post about my hunt.) Well the first day we ended up bringing the girls, which they both loved and continue to talk about, especially E, who always asks to go "hiking" and wear camo.  Z was so cute and during the week would add in her prayers that "mommy will get a deer".   Well we hunted every night of the hunt and we saw several deer and several bucks, but the spot we were at was like a black hole for deer.  3 seperate times we would spot a deer heading in a direction that would be obscured, but funneled to another spot that we could see, but then we would never see the deer again. We also had some nice deer we stalked, but again poof! Gone! And Jon is really good at spotting and seeing where the deer have moved to, and he lost them. So we are at a loss as to how they evaporated. Anyeay, another day the girls came with and they loved it, Z asking if she could shoot a deer when she is old enough. ( She also has a goal to shoot a boy deer, a girl deer, a boy elk, a girl elk, and a moose.  That's our girl!) Oh so on the second to last day of the hunt i was picking up Z from school amd I caught a glimose of movement across the street.  It was a doe, and what was with that doe? A fawn.  And what was with them? A freaking buck! That smug butthead just looked at me like "Yeah I am here and what are you gonna do?" ( Ducks head and started stuffing his face with someone's poor garden.) So yeah that encounter with Smug Buck pretty much summed up my whole hunt.  Anyway it was still fun and I learned a lot.  The very last day was so cloudy we couldn't get to our spot so we had to try to find a new vantage point. Jon spotted a decent buck and started a stalk, but again presto, gone! So no buck this year.  But I must say I have stuck to my guns and use an open site; no scope for this muzzleloader.

Baby Ducks!!!

Oh I forgot we decided to incubate some duck eggs.  We tried six but eneded up with 4 viable duckling.  It was interesting to,see the little things moving around in the egg even at 10 days old.  It was amazing!!! I guess just never thought of the little embryos moving in the egg, but they do just like human babies do.  Anyway here are some pics of them. Petri, Coco, Moana, and Bobby ( E loves saying Bobby and called herself Bobby for a long time, thanks King of the Hill).

Birthday Season is Over

Well we just finished a string of birthdays at our house.  I am so dine with cake!!! Z turned 6 and E turned 3!  What!? How did that happen!?! Anyway Z had a unicorn themed party with her friends and family.  She loved it!! She had a unicorn pinata, we made unicorn name tags, we played pin the horn on the unicorn and toss thr hoop on the unicorn horn (aka a cone).  We had unicorn popcorn, rainbow fruit with sprinkle dip, rainbow dip with veggies, animals crackers and marshmallows, and a unicorn cake ( Jon drew the unicorn) and ice cream. It was fun and I enjoyed putting it together.  I just wish E wasn't so sad the entire time, wanting me to hold her, but oh well.  She had been kinda clingy like that lately, not sure why but it is what it is and I will take her wanting me to hold her, because she is one independent little miss thing.  Well Z wears size 7 clothes and size 12 shoes. She is 50 lbs 4 oz and both percentile for weight and 47.4 inches tall at birth percentile.  Then there is my little pipsqueak E.  She is a whopping 29 lbs 4 oz and 40th percentile for weight, then 35 inches tall and 10th percentile ( they switched how they measure her height so I guess that kinda changes how her height is.)  But like I said pipsqueak.  But she is so full of spunk. She is so dang funny and doesn't put up with anyone's crap.  My sweet Z on the other hand is so sweet and kind and gentle. She still loves to snuggle with me and hold me hand, where as E has always wanted to just walk herself and picks when she wants to snuggle or be cuddly.  They can be such polar opposites at times.  But I love seeing them grow up.  Z always says " I got this mom" and lately E has been belting out Moana. E didn't really have a party but we made her a doughnut monster struck cake because she loves "vroom vrooms".  So thats my girls.  Oh and my hubby turned 34.  And he drew a limited entry tag for elk this year.  So he is super excited about that.
So I don't have tons of pictures because somehow my screens of cracked over my camera lens so my photos have a weird fuzz to them but this is what I got.

Ok So I am Bad at Updates

Ok so what has happened... Oh yeah.  So since October I have joined  maroon squad at work (aka labor and delivery).  Which, by the way had been my dream since nursing school, so yeah pretty freakin psyched!!!  It happened really fast.  I saw the job opening on one week and talked to my then supervisor about my intentions and that the whole reason I had joined float pool was to get into the women's floor (because that is what the director at the time had told me to do, get more medical/surgical floor experience.)  Anyway she was cool with it and I applied on like a Monday and in Wednesday I heard back and had an interview Thursday.  The interview went well and on Monday or Tuesday I got the call that I WAS IN!!!! I still kinda like it is unreal or i am in a dream.  So October 7th I started orienting in a new program for new Labor nurses.  I am still orienting for a little longer, but man I feel like I am at my home floor!!! I love it so much I just can even explain!!!  Anyway so that is what is new with me.  My girls are cute as ever, despite their bickering.  They do some of the cutest things.  Like E will get Z her blanket when Z is acting sad.  Z will get her sister snacks and drinks, sometimes without me even having to ask her.  Both of them had a fun Christmas and were spoiled.  Z asked for the new "King Kong" movie, a zoomer horse, and clothes for her stuffed unicorn.  Z said that E should ask for a furreal cat.  That Z is too smart though.  She kept asking if the movies about Santa were "for real?" So I have a feeling that she will lose the magic of Santa quicker then I want.  Boo.  I love when kids have magic in their lives because the world is so harsh and mean in real life.  Both girls have been singing "Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer" until, well, they are still singing it.   They both are too funny.  I really need to start blogging what they do more.  But anyway we all survived the holidays (and the holiday treats).
